Locally Grown Plants for Michigan Landscapes
Nighthaven Woods Farm is based in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. We focus on edible landscapes—which blends ornamental gardens with fruits, herbs and vegetables. In particular, we support softscape efforts, renovations, and installations. Softscapes are the plants used in landscape design elements, including trees, flowers, shrubs and ground cover.
We maintain a curated portfolio of native, pollinator-friendly, edible, ecological restoration, and ornamental plants chosen for their performance and resilience in Michigan’s climate. Plant availability is driven by natural land cycles. We grow from seed, stem propagation, and root division. The website's photography features real plants grown by us.
We sell through private growing contracts. We supply plants for full landscape, garden and restoration projects to Michigan landowners, landscaping companies, businesses, and other organizations. Our Process
Clients can come to us with specific species or cultivars in mind for their project, or work with us through consultation to determine the right plants and placement for their landscape.
Our consultation process:

2. Project Scoping & Planning—we refine species choices and placement based on goals and the natural landscape.
3. Implementation Support—we supply the plants and support the installation of the plants into your landscape.
4. Post-Installation Monitoring—we assess, provide guidance for plant health, and adjust plantings as needed to support long-term success.
